Birds of the Nest: Conner Cox

October 5, 2018

“My mother made me who I am today. She works really hard at what she does.

She always provides for me and my sisters, I have two sisters and they’re both in college now, so she’s providing for them too. She tries to help us in any way she can.

My mom is a single parent, which makes it ten-times harder. My dad lives in Kansas City, and he has kids of his own now, so he provides for them and does things for them.

If i didn’t have her, I wouldn’t be as hard working as I am now. My mom is the one who pushed me to do a lot of what I do today.

For example, I didn’t want to do college algebra, but she told me it would good for me to do it and learn it. So, I did it–and I passed! So that was a plus.”

Birds of the Nest is an in-depth look at the significant moments in the life of individuals in our community.

I’ve had the privilege of watching the three sisters from birth to the beautiful individuals they are today. Your mother is the best and we are proud of how she has raised her family. Keep up the good grades. Hugs from South Texas.
