Sherri Jones and Gabby Washington were two students who attended the school dance on August, 25. “There aren’t a lot of people here, but I don’t care. I’m here to dance and have a good time with my girls,” Jones said.

On the night of Friday, August 25th 2017, the Blue Jay school dance launched right after the scrimmage at nine o’clock. Unfortunately, the dance did not receive a lot of visitors this time around. Most of our fans left the school because of the time that the scrimmage ended.

The Blue Jay scrimmage began at seven o’clock and it lasted for two whole hours. Ending at nine o’clock, everybody was so tuckered out that they decided to drive home and retire for the night. There were ten blue jays that decided to hang out with us at the dance for a little while longer.

Two of those Blue Jays, Sherri Jones and Gabby Washington, had already planned to go the dance on Friday night.

“There aren’t a lot of people here, but I don’t care. I’m here to dance and have a good time with my girls,” Jones said.

This was the first dance for the 2017-18 school year.
