GALLERY: JCHS Crisis Drill 2017

The medical explorer participants were involved with a community-wide crisis drill on Friday, April 28. The drill was conducted by local emergency services. This exercise provided invaluable experience for students and emergency personnel. The premise for the drill was that a tornado strikes Junction city, causing damage to the high school, forcing an evacuation.The drill included support from the Junction City Fire Department , Geary County law enforcement and local EMS, and the Geary County Community Hospital. This exercise was an opportunity for students to be immersed in an activity that simulates an actual emergency.
