On Tuesday, April 9th, 2017 The Blue Jay Baseball Team took on the Manhattan Indians in their regular season finale. The Blue Jays lost both games losing game one 4-3 and game two 12-6. The Blue Jays finished the season at 11-9 with regionals looming in.

Thane McDaniel started game one and pitched a complete game only allowing four runs. The Blue Jays scored two runs in the first inning with hopes of winning but the team lost their lead in the third inning and never regained it.

Charlie Peyla started game two and the game went downhill. The Indians scored seven runs in the first inning and continued to score runs throughout the game. The Blue Jays continued to fight and not give up but their offense wasn’t strong enough, the Jays lost 12-6.

The Blue Jays look to have some success in regionals and are currently waiting to find out who and where they will be playing in regionals.
