What makes this Abilene tournament more special than any other tournament is the award the overall team achieved together. The team received third place in sweepstakes for the first time in all of these “forensicators” careers, including the four-year senior member. Tianna Snyder, one of the Varsity team members said, “I feel like it was a big accomplishment for the Forensics team, in my 3 years on the team we have never taken sweeps. I was excited, but knew that we had a good team this year and we would be able to accomplish our goal”.  The Forensics Coach Jessica Roche said “I am incredibly proud of the team and its efforts this past Friday and Saturday. While there is obvious room for improvement, I was very proud of our young team. Having a novice heavy team, earning sweepstakes becomes challenging. However, with superior senior leadership we were able to overcome these struggles and earn our first sweeps of the season”. Their next Forensics tournament is this Friday and Saturday at Topeka High.
